Alex Rodriguez Will Speak at University of Miami Fall 2017 Commencement
What: Baseball star and University of Miami alumnus, Alex Rodriguez will speak at the 2017 fall commencement Thursday at the Watsco Center. Rodriguez will address the graduating class by giving insight into his experiences on and off the field.
Who: Alex Rodriguez is a 14-time Major League Baseball all-star and Emmy Award-winning sports commentator. The honorary UM alumnus has played for the Seattle Mariners, New York Yankees and Texas Rangers during his 22-year career. Rodriguez serves on the UM board of trustees and is an avid supporter of the School of Business Administration, where he established the Graduate Entrepreneurship and Innovation Endowed Fund.
When: 8 a.m. Thursday, December 14, 2017.
Where: Watsco Center, 1245 Dauer Drive, Coral Gables, FL 33146
How to Attend: The ceremony is free and open to graduates and their guests.
